Dialogue App Tour

The Dialogue App was designed in collaboration with the National Academy of Public Administration specifically for the needs of government policy discussion.
- Garner valuable ideas from a community, whether large or niche (crowd-sourcing)
- Demonstrate an open, participative, collaborative approach to governance processes
- Get people engaged in a thoughtful discussion of difficult decisions
- Set up a proposition
- Have people add their ideas
- Rate, tag and comment on them to build consensus

See ideas quickly; then browse, search and sort by keywords, filters and tags
1. Immediately see the latest ideas contributed by other users
2. See highest rated or most discussed ideas with one click
3. Browse ideas by tags

Read, rate and comment on any idea
1. Read the full text of an idea, including its rationale
2. Instantly give the idea a 1-5 star rating; the best ideas bubble to the top
3. Get into more detailed feedback/refinement of the idea with comments

Add your own idea
1. Give it a snappy title and then...
2. Write as much or as little as you want to expand on and explain your idea. WYSIWG editor lets you format content, add links etc
3. That's it – your idea is good to go!
Capture custom demographics
1. As an administrator, you can set up your own fields for demographic information specific to your situation
2. These can be required or optional and added as part of the registration process or added to the profile section
3. You can also choose which information to make publicly visible

Easily moderate content
1. Moderators can approve, reject or 'lock' any idea – moderation queues make it easy to see which content needs checking
2. Comments and tags can also be removed from public view. Everything is saved behind the scenes, though, for accurate reporting
3. Any registered user can report an idea, flagging it for moderation
